This year I feel a very strong shift in my tastes, and I think it’s going back to what I actually genuinely personally like, as opposed to what I think I like, which is usually whatever I have just seen on a blog or in a magazine. As my friends would know, I am very easily influenced, in most things and especially in fashion, so one of my aims this year was to stop clouding my taste with that of everyone else or what’s ‘on trend’. In order to articulate this, I decided to put together some sort of a mood board which reflects what I love, for right now anyway. This will probably change in a week or so lol

Upon realising I have developed the travel bug really badly over the last few weeks I decided to look back through some of my previous travel pics from years ago to London & Greece. And well, if this doesn’t encourage me to save, then I don’t know what will.
And on a completely different note, who would have thought that I (yes, Me, the person who blatantly questions the relevance and point of selfies on a regular basis) would have taken selfies 4 years ago! I mean who would have though I would ever take proper selfies full stop, but now I’m thinking there’s a possibility I actually invented them 4 years ago… Bahahha!!! I jest of course… It was probably just too much sun getting to me, as I say with my foot wedged firmly in my mouth.
A quick trip to the Benefit store in London and quick as a flash, Erin & I had new & improved brows
This is why London makes a dint in your pocket
So here is the first selfie… I’m actually partially embarrassed, but obviously happy. Who’d have thought, 4 years ago…
Happy New Year peeps! Hope you’ve all had a cracker of a night and set your new years resolutions, I certainly have. I wish I could say that they were ground breaking and original, but unfortunately, my resolutions fall under the ‘typical & cliche’ heading. So here they are in no particular order:
1. To continue to work hard, complete my degree and get by on a student funded lifestyle.
2. To save my moula and ensure an overseas trip of some type, preferably Greece/Europe in May and London in December for Christmas shopping.
3. And finally, to just take good care of myself both physically and mentally.
Now that I have written these down and put them out there for the world to see, I am hoping this will help to encourage me to stick to them… Lets see how I go! In addition to these resolutions, I also thought the New Year would be a great time to start spreading the wings of my blog and beginning to include a wider variety of posts, so stay tuned and don’t be surprised to see some different types of posts and topics pop up on StyleSnooperDan!
Santorini, where I hope to get back to sometime around the middle of this year!
London, where I would love to be in December
And Happy New Year to all my favourite people, you know who you are! Much love xx
